Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to meet some pretty amazing people, and the Lawhorne family is no exception. Jenn and Matt are super sweet and down to earth, and together are raising three pretty incredible kids. When I spoke with Jenn before our session, she mentioned how much they love spending time together outdoors, and knowing that, I think she picked the perfect location - Manito Equestrian Center in Allentown, where her daughter has been taking horseback riding lessons. This peaceful horse farm, with it’s gorgeous scenery, is only minutes from the city, but feels like the English countryside. Needless to say I didn’t want to leave.
The best part is that Jenn didn’t book me for just any old day - I got to hang out with them on the very same day that two of these adorable kiddos officially became Lawhornes. I’m honored to have been able to be a part of such an important and exciting day in their family journey. Here are some of my favorite images from their session.
