When Inda first contacted me a few months ago, I was so excited. She was looking for a photographer to capture her, her husband, and their sweet 6 month old daughter, on their first ever trip to New York City. Having grown up in New York, I love the opportunity to explore it with people visiting from out of town - it lets me see the city from a whole new perspective. There's nothing like seeing New York for the first time!
Our first stop was the New York Public Library at 42nd Street. The Stephen A. Schwarzman building is a classic example of New York architecture, which I knew the family would appreciate. We visited their wonderful children's room, and then spent a little while exploring the other areas of this gorgeous library.
Afterwards, we braved the cold and walked around Times Square for a little while. Even on the coldest days, there's an energy in New York that I think everyone should experience first hand.
All that excitement can be exhausting!
I hope this beautiful family enjoyed their trip to NYC as much as I enjoyed capturing it. If you're planning on a vacation soon, I highly recommend hiring a professional photographer to preserve those memories for you. It's a great way to ensure the whole family can be in the photos, and it's the perfect souvenir. And if that vacation happens to be in New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I'd be happy to work with you to plan a vacation photography session! Email me anytime at hello@jengrimaphotography.com.
