Afternoon in the Life: The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, PA | Documentary Family Photography
Fun fact about me: I love making lists. To-do lists, bucket lists, shopping lists...ok, maybe not that last one so much. But the best part about making lists, is crossing things off of them. And last week we got to cross something off of our summer bucket list - the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
My girls absolutely loved this place, and I have to admit, I was pretty impressed by it too. If you've got a kid that loves pretend play, this museum will not disappoint. Our favorite exhibits were Storyland, which was filled with exhibits about some of our favorite picture books; Roadside Attractions, where we played mechanic; and City Capers, which featured (among other things) a full grocery store!
Eventually all the fun started to make us hungry, so we decided to head out and get some dinner.
Sabrina's Cafe was only a five minute drive from the museum, and in addition to their dinner menu, they serve breakfast all day. Sold!
It was the perfect end to a wonderful day. This place was very kid friendly, with delicious food and a great vibe. I had some of the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. Yes, I realize what a bold statement that is, but they were seriously that good. April thoroughly enjoyed her grilled cheese.
And, I even managed to get in the frame.
